Our new series will introduce the concept of palliative care emergencies and the importance of prompt, effective responses by HCPs. We will go on to consider pathophysiology, identification and treatment of MSCC. It will also consider communication with patients, families and other professionals and supporting future care planning.

This interactive session prepares qualified nurses to undertake the extended role of verification of  expected death.
