NMP update: prescribing syringe drivers in adult palliative care (22 Apr 2026)

This session draws on the up to date evidence base to enable attendees to refresh their understanding of the indications and cautions when prescribing syringe drivers. It goes on to apply pharmacological knowledge to considerations around drug doses and combinations when prescribing. The session will also consider improving practice around managing site reactions and consider specific challenges in prescribing at the end of life.
