NMP update: prescribing opioids in paediatric palliative care (18 May 2026)

This course will give NMPs a comprehensive overview of the pharmacology of this group of drugs. It will go on to consider indications, cautions and contraindications in the prescribing of opiates, including converting between different opiates and between different routes of administration. On completion of the session, attendees will receive a workbook to support their ongoing prescribing development.
