NMP update: prescribing for older adults (29 Apr 2025)

Designed to improve NMP confidence and competence when prescribing for this age group, where there are important considerations and challenges. The session will cover pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, frailty and specific prescribing issues in palliative care. There will be a focus throughout on polypharmacy and deprescribing. All of our NMP sessions are supported by comprehensive workbooks for ongoing personal development.
