NMP update: prescribing for older adults (22 Jan 2026)

Prescribing in the older age group brings with it particular changes for NMPs. This session will consider the physiology of ageing and how this affects pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. There will be specific focus on polypharmacy, co-morbidities, frailty and deprescribing. On completion of the session attendees will receive a workbook to assist with their ongoing development in this important area of prescribing practice.
